Bioquímica egresada de la Facultad de Farmacia y Bioquímica de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, docente de Química Biológica Superior de la misma carrera. Desde febrero de 2018 es estudiante de doctorado en el laboratorio de la Dra. Gottifredi con una beca doctoral financiada por ANPyCT. En su tiempo libre Sofia disfruta de aprender idiomas, dibujar y viajar
